Step Lights

I've noticed that some campers have lights under the fold down step area but mine doesn't have that feature. Has anyone found a good light option to illuminate the stairs?

I'm going to try using a solar rechargeable deck light from Amazon. I plan on "mounting" it using a wire type Command Hook or two so I can remove it while on the road. The hook should slip through the screw holes (I hope). These recharge during the day and when they sense motion, turn on for 30 seconds. Since these come in multi-packs I'm thinking of hanging one over the outside shower which is where the DW does the dishes on a fish cleaning table.

Has anyone figure how to shut the step lights off ? I have a New 2019 Melbourne Prestige and the lights are always on when the master switch is on.

I had the same problem and the dealer said it was for safety reasons and that makes no sense so I put in my own switch to shut it off when I wanted

I have a step light on my 2019 whitehawk, it only lights up when the led awning lights are on, we need it on when the awning lights are off..kind of useless
