Talon tire rub

2018 Talon 313T, Left front tire is rubbing on the support bracket coming from the frame. Not much contact (maybe about ¼ of an inch) but it does make contact during (I'm guessing) hard bumps. Anyone else have this issue? I have the ST255/85R16 endurance tires on it. They are 33" tall tires. If I mount the 235/85R16 tires (31" tall) it may give me a little clearance. But I'd be sacrificing 400lbs capacity per tire. What do y'all think?

Did the 255s come on it standard? If not, that may be the issue. Are they the stock rims with the same offset and profile? You can get higher weight rated tires but you may need to go to 120psi and your rims may not hold that.

Yes the Goodyear endurance 255/85/R16 tires came stock. The rims are stock. The Jayco tech told me they can't authorize any other tire size because it would be considered a modification. I was thinking of going with the sailun tires. They are only 31" high rather than 33".

Stock tires and rims, if correctly inflated, should not rub unless you are taking this thing 4 wheeling.

I agree with you. No, I don't off road with it. However, the hwy 3132 loop in Shreveport is the second worse hwy in Louisiana and I have to take it because of the major construction on I20. I have two options, I guess I'll just think it through a little longer.
