The big brown truck brought today....

Apparently, one of these arrived yesterday for Father's Day. JPEG_20210620_185158_9214771781392501311.jpg

You at least get your stuff. I think mine grew legs and took up residency at the mail man's house. And this isn't the first time something like this has happened with USPS.

There was a story in the news about a delivery driver (didn't say what company) knocked on someone's door and asked to use the bathroom, that it was an emergency. It wasn't a delivery to their home. The homeowner said ok and the driver absolutely BLEW UP their bathroom and never even offered to clean it up. He just left.

I'm sure some calls were made.

USPS delivery can be bad. Sometimes it takes 4 days for a package to go from the USPS hub to my local post office 10 miles away. Frustrating. Takes very little time to go from the vendor states away to the USPS hub.

Well, then it's not just USPS (which I've had no problems with: Last year, I ordered a Viair compressor through Amazon. I had similar tracking data ("package has left facility...package is on truck...blah blah blah...expect delivery by 5 p.m....package DELIVERED.") I thought it had been stolen from our driveway. In fact, the package was still sitting in a container in Long Beach, CA or some other CA port. It took me a month to get it.

"What can Brown do for you?" :)

The bbt brought me a 4”x50’ roll of Eternabond tape, roller and cleaner! Had planned on sealing the roof seams and jacks, but Mother Nature is getting in the way. It’s going to be 113 degrees today and way over 100 for the next few days!! Think I will hold off on this project for awhile.

Our new ICECO JP40 portable 12 Volt refrigerator. No more having to mess with ice to keep a cooler cool.

I ordered some wire connectors that I never knew existed that got delivered today. Basically, you run the 2 wires in the tubing, heat it with a heat gun, the solder melts & connects the wires. Continue to heat and the plastic edging melts like shrink wrap! [emoji2962]

Those things are slick. I found out about them back in the '80s, courtesy of the avionics technicians in my USN squadron.

Trak4 GPS Tracker for the trailer. It's been on the list for a while and finally getting around to it......

You just cost me $40.

How did no one ever show these to me before? How does the local home depot not sell these?

If they work as advertised, they are straight from heaven.

They are awesome! I can’t believe I had never heard of them before either!

I’m always happy to help someone else spend their money…lol[emoji41]

These Snap Pads have been back ordered for months, had forgotten I still had the order.
