The refrigerator stopped refrigerating when the slide was fully extended

On a recent outing in our 325BHQS we set up camp as always including of course to extend all the slides. Everything was fine until we noticed water dripping from the ice maker. I could still hear the refrig compressor and feel air blowing into the freezer but it wasn't refrigerating. Gradually everything thawed. When I got home I retracted the refrig slide but left it our about 8 inches hoping there was some rear panel access...how else would you get at the back of the refrig. Bottom line is that I heard ice being made and the whole thing worked again. How do I access the back of the refrigerator and what could be getting pinched off to kill the refrigeration?

There isn't anything that can get "pinched off" to stop refrigeration(maybe propane if your running of propane). Were you on propane or shore power? It looks like you have that black panel on the side but not sure what access that gives you - you may have to take the unit out from inside the coach.

We were on shore power. How can the other refrigerator functions, like air circulation and the lights in the refrig worked, and it not refrigerate? And then everything returned to normal function when I closed the slide leaving 8 inches exposed. Is the refrig on multiple different wire circuits?

The refrigerator has a compressor - thats what cools the unit. I have heard that if the unit is not level the compressor may not cool like it should. Which would explain why wit the slide in it was more level.

If it's a residential style fridge the wiring would be just like you have at the house. A power cord with three wires. Residential type fridge is not normally that temperamental to needing to be level like a RV style fridge. Can the coils freeze over?? I would let it set and run for extended period to see if it quits cooling again. And yes if you do not have the door on and outside for access the fridge will have to be removed for servicing.
