Time for new tires...should I balance and replace the spare?

Hey Jaycos, I've put over 20,000 miles in five years on my Goodyear Endurance tires on my Jayfight BH262. I will be replacing with the same tire using the stock steel rims, but I was wondering if I should have them balanced? Also, my spare has never been used, is 5 years old as well and has been covered the whole time. Can I keep that as a spare for a few more years? Thanks in advance for your comments.

1. I use ballancing Beads. They go inside the tire

2. I always replace the spare when replacing the tires (even if never used). The last thing you want is to get a flat then have the spare fail due to age.

When I replaced my Endurance tires I saved one and had it mounted as a spare, replacing the Made in China tire. I always have them balanced, as well as have the metal valve stems installed. I have TPMS sensors on the stems so metal ones are recommended.

I usually save the best tire from the ones being replaced to mount up as a spare. I just hope that I have better luck with my C than I did with my 5th wheel and my pickup...

Yes... definitely balance.
It's bumpy enough going down the road, don't add to it. Less stress on: tires, bearings, leaf springs, bushings, frame, and everything inside the trailer.
BUT, that's just my opinion

Another recommendation for replace all, spare included.

I recommend balancing as well. Shop that did tires on my AFrame a few years ago didn't balance because 'trailers don't need it'. I towed it home, and turned right around due to the vibration.

Spin balanced, and were perfect.
