Tip out Crash or Crush

My RV is out of warranty. I had one interaction with Jayco, my dealer and a repair under warranty. After that I decided it was just easier to do any repair work myself because it wasn’t worth the hassle and down time. I’m lucky all the problems were within my ability to repair. When I read some of the posts on this forum I think Jayco could do much better with warranty repairs. Repairs taking weeks or even months is not what I would expect for the best warranty in the business.

Finding out that RV repair is best done by independent mobile repair guys. Dealers and large changes have a hard time keeping mechanics that care, or managers that are willing to do right by their customers.

Better to find a local independent guy and pay the fee one time vs. endless return trips to a dealership (or learn to fix it yourself).

Not a bad thing to learn how to fix it to your ability and keep learning to be able to fix more.
