Several things I found out from camping.
Cleaning the awning was a pain. I like keeping my tt new looking. Found you can run your awning out all the way and let it keep winding and roll it up backwards. You can scrub the fabric with a pole brush and cleaner while it is against the roller. When thru cleaning and dry you can treat it with roof type conditioner or 303 protectant to keep from staining.
Kitchen, bath and outside is all on one breaker. Found where I could split the outside and put on separate GFCI. It was tough trying to cook breakfast outside, coffee pot on and wife drying hair in bathroom. Most panels have space to add a breaker.
Sway bars or stabilizers, what ever you want to call them, usually wind up on the ground. Made some hangers to hold them for storage.

Yeah, I like that. Those bars are heavy. I store them in my cubby but this is much cleaner.

How do you get the awning to roll up backwards?

Just keep holding the switch down and once the fabric is fully extended it will continue to roll up backwards. There is no limit switch on the awning motor.

Hmmmm, When my awning reaches the end... It stops. Don't go any further no matter how long I hold the switch

Mine stops but the motor doesn't sound happy about it. I try to stop a tiny bit short. I have a big step ladder so cleaning the top with a soft brush and hose is no problem. I apply protectant with a swiffer mop with a microfiber cloth attached.

Not all awnings will roll up backwards. The one on my MH will, but the one on my TT would not.

1 part bleach 3 part water solution in pump sprayer. Spray top of awning thoroughly roll it up for a few hours. Unroll and hose off thoroughly. Works for me and easy.

My Carefree of Colorado will keep on and roll up backwards.
