Tire Pressure sensors on 2024 321RSTS

We tow our 2024 321RSTS with a 2024 Chevy 2500HD which has the software for trailer connection which includes blue tooth connection for the TPS on the 5er. Have tried multiple times to connect the sensor to the monitoring system on the truck. The sensors on the 5er are Treadit 5.0 blue cap. I have found out these sensors are not compatible with the GM trailering system in the truck. The sensors work fine with BMPro in the 5er, but would like to have them tied into the GM trailering system so could have the alerts to the truck screen rather than to my phone through the Bluetooth connection to the BMPro, since I don't allows trust the blue tooth connection.
I like being able to check the tire pressure occasionally via the BMPro in the 5er while park for extended periods while traveling.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution? One solution I have thought of would be to put new GM compatible sensor in the 5er wheels, but don't know if GM sensors would be compatible with the BMPro system so I could still monitor pressure while parked on the BMPro screen.

We have 2022 321RSTS and 2024 GMC truck. We use GM's TPS on our camper. Even though our camper came with it's own, we believe the one built into our truck is better and recommend the same to you.
1) you can display the truck's tire pressure and your Camper's tire pressure at the same time while traveling.
2) the alarm is built into the truck and will alert you properly should the need arise.
3) the GM trailer tire pressure monitor GM provides can easily reach back to your Camper's wheels and the signal includes tire temperature too.

Tip: when you ask for the TMS installation at the tire shop, ask them to balance the tires too. Jayco doesn't. Since the wheels will be off, ask them to install the four Monroe shocks which your camper is made to accept while they have the opportunity... around $40 each. You will notice the change.

Thanks for the response Stan & Sharon. Where did you obtain the GM TPS sensor, from a GM dealer or elsewhere?

What was the noticeable difference you noticed after installing the Monroe shocks.

Do you have the part number for the shocks you bought? I should probably contact Jayco or the dealer we bought the 5er from to see if they can tell me the correct shock number to get for our 2024 in case they changed something from 2022 to 2024.

The GM Tire Pressure Monitoring System which connects into your Infotainment System shows temperature and tire pressure while you drive. Nice.
The suspension upgrades we did last year which included shocks. Shocks made for a less bouncy ride, plus recommend you balance your tires.
We also replaced the heavy 3-piece glass shower doors with the Nautilus shower door. Almost a year ago and it's fantastic. Here is where to order it.
We also replaced the RV furniture with regular home furniture.
We live in New Hampshire and spend winters in Florida. We're always looking for things to upgrade or improve on our camper. Let me know if there's any other questions or advice desired. Happy camping.

I was just checking the tire pressure sensor part number on GM website and see there are several that fit your truck. These also say their batteries will last 10 years. The Amazon/Walmart/Autozone versions may not be identical. My truck came with the four extra to install on our camper, therefore I recommend you call your local GM dealer, provide your VIN# and confirm which part number you need before you place any order.

Thanks for the additional information Stan & Sharon. I plan to contact the Chevrolet dealership where I bought my truck to see which model of TPS I need. I had done a little research since your first response, and found they need to be vehicle specific.

I looked at the axles on my 2024 Eagle to see if it has brackets for the shocks already installed. My axles are Dexter and I do not see brackets for the 4 shocks. So I have emailed Jayco to see if shocks can be added to my specific axles or if there are brackets and specific shocks I would need to order to fit them. I have a couple of friends here where we winter in Florida that have put shocks on their 5er's. They both said, as you did, the shocks made a huge difference in ride while towing.

I just looked at the picture of your shocks on you first reply, I don't think that I was looking in the right location. So will look again in the morning, since your spring setup looks the same as mine.

We winter in Polk City Florida and are from Greenville Michigan. Where do you winter in Florida.

We spend 6 months at Pioneer Creek RV Resort in Bowling Green FL
There are lots of activities in the campground and because it's away from the beaches there's little traffic to deal with. Perfect for us old-timers.

Just went through Bowling Green on Tuesday. Saw the sign for your park. Will be back that way in a couple weeks (around April 1 -3). Have friend in Wachula park. May let you know and stop to see your shock setup if your still thrre.

I just heard back from Jayco service. My axles are not setup with shock brackets from.the factory. I couldn't see any, so not surprised at their response. From your original response I assumed your axles had brackets on them for shocks. Correct?

Here is what to look for... Notice in the photo there is a small protrusion coming off the frame which the shock attaches on the top and there's a hole in it and another hole in the bracket that attaches the springs to the axle.
This year we leave bowling green end of March and spend all April in Pensacola to visit family and see the Blue Angels

Curious how you were able to identify the TPMS brand? I have the same model and year and I had to get a tire replaced. The Goodyear vendor I used threw away the sensor and scratched/chipped the rim. My OCD went into overdrive.

Jayco wanted $500 for a rim and $100 for the sensor. I was able to find the same rim on Amazon (2 for $250). Trying to identify the TPSM brand model to do the same.

Worst case I can take another tire off or just pay the $100.

They are never in a hurry to ship stuff. Surprised they didn't give you at 4-6 week window.

If you are able can you take a pic of what your value stem looks like on the wheel(s) that still have the tpms installed in them?

Can you also add a link to the rim you found on amazon?

That was fast. Is that the correct one for your trailer? That is what mine has but they didn't ship that style to my dealer. It was completely different.
