Hi, my toilet pipe is leaking where it connects to the black tank connector. You can see in the picture the beads of water, it beads all around the pipe. I had a similar issue with the vent pipe, it leaked where the connector was glued to the tank, so I used an ABS slurry made from acetone and ABS pipe pieces to repair it (tank and pipes are ABS), the slurry worked after the 4th coat.
Because the toilet pipe is leaking where its glued to the connector, I was thinking of using 3M 4200, or, 3M 5200 and spread a bead all the way around the pipe at the leak. Likely only one coat would be needed.
Has anyone had a similar situation where 3M adhered on ABS to stop a leak?
Thanks!
