Wanting to clean the top of the slide outs on the 29 MV for some time. Rather than getting the ladder out I decided to clean the tops with the slides pulled in. There isn't a lot of room but enough to get my arm between the top of the slide and the ceiling. This would work excellent for those who have slide toppers, which I do not have.......

Nice tip! I have also checked for sticks and debris under the seal this way from time to time too.

Never tried it that way. Would be difficult to clean the important part? Which is the far outside edge where all the sealing happens? Good for cleaning the inside part that you can't get to when it's out though...

Last time I had the ladder out an was cleaning up there, I found I had all kinds of creases in the Eternabond seal up there. So had to add another chore to the never-ending list...

I do have toppers and have tried several ways. Inside works ok but it's tight in my rig and my arms are to short to reach all the way. I have had good luck with a soapy towel wrapped around my extendable handle brush, then a good rinse with a hose. I have to go at it from each end cause one of my slides is 14".

Of course a ladder is involved!
