2nd owner 2020 Jayco Seneca, we had the RV for 2 weeks took her out for a test run, Both air conditioning units stopped working, Repair guy came out and found that our transfer switch needed replacing, according to the previous owner this is the third time, when the repair guy came out, he found that it was not attached to anything just sitting there bouncing around. anybody have this problem recommend a different device?

We had the same switch some years ago in a Greyhawk. It was properly secured and we had no problems. There are many to choose from if you decide to replace it. We used our so little I would have been tempted to replace it with a manual switch if it failed. It was hard to get at and I would regret losing the automatic changeover, so we let it be.

Not attached to anything after the 3rd repair is odd. Are there any signs of it ever being attached?
