Trash

We just purchased a 2015 Precept 29UM (bunk bed model). It doesn't look like there is any real good option to place a trash can. Anyone figure out a good solution? Under the sink on the left seems like it would have been OK except for the plumbing would likely hit even a short trash can. I figure someone has already figured something out so I thought I might pick your collective brains! Thanks!

Admins: I posted this in the Precept section but thought it might get a little more traction here. Feel to remove from the other section if repeats are a no no. Thx.

In my 19RD space for everything is always a concern.

We use a bathroom wastebasket lined with a plastic grocery bag, tucked into the corner formed by the oven and the back of the dinette.

Yeah, it gets filled pretty quick (under 2 days).

We empty ours every day, but then we have a baby on board.

OP, is there any place you could use one of those racks you mount to the inside of the cabinet? Like this: Robot Check

We use a small can with a step lid on the floor in a out of the way space. We empty it a lot. We didn't want to take up any storage space with can.

Would this work?

This is an issue no matter what RV you have. We use a wicker waste basket with a bag in it that stays in the bathroom. When we use the bathroom, we put the basket outside.

Our floor space is limited also. Like mike837go, a small flip lid plastic basket in the corner of the fridge and bathroom wall, and one of those large round pop up style thingys from CW, outside with a plastic bag inside. The one outside gets put in back of TV at night so critters don't get a free meal.

Lots of good suggestions! I like the Pop a Bag and will order one for the next trip. For now I suppose we'll do like most with a small can that gets moved about and emptied frequently!

We use the small waste basket with grocery bags. I would not want something that just holds the bag but does not have a solid bottom. I have had those grocery bags leak. We live in the MH for 6 months a year and it has worked out great.

In our 31UL we have a small plastic garbage container under the sink.
When we are camping we tend to pull it out and put it next to the dinette and the entrance door for convenient access.

I have a small trash container that plastic grocery bags fit into, and set it outside the cabinet. Every morning, no matter how full it is, I carry it up to the dumpster and throw it away. Good reason for some forced exercise.

we put this next to the dinette slide and the steps and when in motion next to the driver seat it's very handy in our 31ul.

We use this in the kitchen area and a smaller one in the bath. The idea was to keep the dogs out but they figured it out in 5 minutes. They are still handy and we did not want to take up space under a cabinet.

We put the recycling in a container in the shower. Use grocery bags for garbage which we keep by the door
