In lieu of what is going on in the US right now, would a trip to Alaska thru Canada be a good thing or a bad thing??
We were planning for this year but I do have my concerns with our neighbor and how this whole tariff thing is going to play out.
I am looking for some general feedback on the idea…

Thanks…

I wouldn’t let all the media hype impact your planning. Most Canadians are mad at our own government, not your government or Americans. Alaska is one of the most wild and beautiful places on earth. Enjoy it!!

Understood!!! We have been there numerous times thru the air but driving this year…

I think a lot of Canadians are upset with the "Donald" right now but as always, Americans are welcome in Canada anytime :canada:
The nonsense going on won't affect your trip or safety but not buying Canadian products while in Canada could be quite dangerous at the check out :nono:
I would suggest you change some money to Canadian at your bank (at an incredible rate) to avoid the ugly American money jokes :nodding:

Depending on where you are coming from, travelling through Portland and Seattle is the riskiest part of your trip….
