Hi All, as I travel I'd love to have a directory of some kind that would point me in the direction of truck scales (to weigh trailer, etc.). Does anybody know if one exists? Thank you!

I don't know in your area, but there's a scale 10 minutes from my house at the local gas station/truck stop. I used it to weight my Greyhawk, The brand is Cat scales. They have a locator. There was a fee, but it was less than $20. If I were flat towing, they only charged another $3 to weight both my RV and toad.

Not surw where you are. Here in New Brunswick Canada. There's signs letting you know where the scales are. As well as pressure plates inbedded in the road that are linked to LED signs telling trucks to stop at the scales.

We also have a salvage yard near by that has a scale.

The Weigh my truck app is great, also there is an associated app for finding cat scales. Don't have to go in to pay if you set up an account, and all the readings come and are stored in the app. Love it.

I don't know about California, but in Washington (and other states), if trucking weigh scales are CLOSED, you can weigh yourself there. The displays are always on.
