When you use satellite or cable tv, do you have to change the connection in the living room from TV? I know this is kinda of a dumb question but I'm gonna ask it anyway.

I have to change the tv menu to air/cable if using sat or cable, and my Direct tv box will not work unless the outside cable is run directly to it from the Winegard Sat.
I'm not exactly sure what you are asking though.

I know it's kinda confusing. Behind the TV in the living room, I have a connector that says TV and a connector that says cable/satellite. If I am at a rv park and I have cable at the site, I'm assuming I would hook the tv up to cable/satellite. Now, if I were to switch to antenna, do I have to go behind the tv and change the connector to TV?

Yes I would think so, but mine just has a push button on the wall outlet to switch it.
