two portable generators

When using two 2500watt generators in parallel, each generator should be able to provide upwards of 20a each, or 40a total. 30 amps from the kit is supported. I say that based on common setups I have seen, I would read your manual for any specifics. Point being is that the 20amp fuses provides 2x20 or 40 amps total in parallel (40a or 5000w peak power but a continuous power output of 30a is certainly reasonable). ~CA

Does anyone know if two 2500watt generators on a parallel kit with each generator having 20 amp fuse can support 30amp circuit?

We purchased the Cummins onan 4500i, but being too bulky for her to carry I purchased (2) Cummins onan 2500i units. 2200/2500 each, and paralleled. They power the 2021 micro jay feather flawlessly, a/c, microwave, everything on. I read somewhere that (2) 20a units provide like 35a service? I don’t know if they quite double, but without a doubt they give enough juice. Still considering a soft start for a/c but we bought the trailer to have all amenities so we will always use them together!

A Predator 3500 will supply up to 24A steady load and weighs about 100 pounds. Two of them can be ganged together to power a 50A RV outlet. They're pretty darned quiet. It's a lot to pack around, but they're easier to lift up and down from the truck than a single generator of the same capacity.
