Vent Electrical in Jayco Redhawk 25R

I want to install a Dometic fan above the bed in the ceiling vent but it requires two wire electrical. Does anyone know if this vent space is already pre-wired? Currently there is not anything electrical in it but I haven’t taken the vent off to see if the wires are behind it.

Probably not. My Redhawk 31F doesn’t have any wiring running to the vent over my bed. I looked into installing a fan over our bed and I will have to run the power through the ceiling from the reading lights mounted under the cabinet over the bed.

I know the GreyHawks do, but not sure if the RedHawks are pre-wired. If no one answers you that has a RedHawk and knows, I would simply contact Jayco and they can tell you first hand.

Ask for the 12 volt wiring diagram.

I have pulled many wires through my HTT. Has not been horrible to do, just have to think about it.
