I have found a bar fridge/freezer that fits perfectly into the storage compartment at the back of my 2010 32 BHDS. However, I have found that the compartment gets ridiculously hot, as it has no ventilation, and think that this is causing the fridge to use way too much electricity.
Has anyone ever cut a 4" hole (or 2!) in the storage compartment door to allow for airflow? Any other suggestions about where to cut holes? I don't really want to vent into the trailer, as it already gets hot enough inside during the summer.
The trailer is stationary in a trailer park, so I don't have to worry about dirt buildup.
I'm planning on putting a vent cover such as this over the hole to prevent rain/rodents from getting in:

Thanks for your ideas!
