W/D Electrical Question

We have a 2018 Seneca HJ with the stacked washer / dryer. We love having a washer and dryer on board. Just wish we could use them both at the same time but they both plug in to the same outlet. When we first got the RV, I thought we could run both at the same time. But we learned later that it trips the breaker at some point when they are both running. After giving it some thought, there is no way they could both operate on the same circuit. Thinking of running another circuit over to the dryer and was wondering if anyone has already done this. It is a shame Jayco didn’t do this. It is a very short run from the electrical box under the bed over to the W/D closet. Thanks in advance for any input.

While I have the combo Spendide laundry I have run extra circuits in my 2014 without any issues. My unit originally had the Girard tankless heater but I swapped it for an Atwood 10-gallon gas/electric. So that was one added circuit. I also added two more to my underbelly to supply the electric heaters I added to allow for better cold weather operation. I did have to substitute some 1/2-size double breakers to have enough room in my load center. Everything works great!

I hadn't updated my breaker location sheet in my picture, but I have since!

I too installed several additional outlets, getting the wiring into the back of the panel is the most difficult issue as in my case there is a large mass of wires back there going everywhere and not much space to work.

Yes, I ran a separate #12 romex on its own 20 amp breaker. On my HJ I had to run it under the bed out behind the nightstand on the closet side. You will have to remove all the thin plywood under the bed to access an area to run the wire. Then there is a little wire runway behind the rear nightstand, you have to take the nightstand off to access it. Then under the closet flooring. I had to pull the heater vent to reach in and pull the wire along. Once I got it into the W/D area I just installed another receptacle. The washer is on its own circuit/receptacle and the dryer is on its own circuit/receptacle. BTW, I have never run the W/D without being on full hookups.
