So I did go on to the Jayco site and told him the proms that we're having with our 2022 GMC 2500 HD and our 2024 North Point We were getting a warning on the truck about trailer lights disconnected however they worked and another warning We took the camper and they tested the plug they said it wasn't in the camper so we then took our 2022 truck to our dealership they replaced a module and now they replace the plug after that my husband found another trailer that had brakes on it took it for a ride and there is no warnings on it at all so for the second time we now have our Jayco camper back into the dealership and told him that it's something in the camper even though it's a 2024 there must be a ground wire or something that's wrong They said that they took it out in their vehicle and they didn't have no warnings but don't know how smooth the road was when we took our camper out and made for the first time We didn't have no warnings until we came back We don't believe it's in the truck It's in the camper but they said it's a lot of work tearing it out to try and find all the wires and follow the leads to the wires. We know it's in the camper even though it's a 2024 brand new there's something wrong. Does anyone have no opinion on this. Thank you Sheila

We did use a dialectic grease that did not help it either we've had the plug-in tight and again they put a new plug in the truck and they replace the brake module and it was not that It has to be in the camper somewhere.

We had a similar problem last week while traveling to Medicine Hat from Salt Lake City. We were towing a 2024 Jayco Eagle HT 26REC with a 2021 Ford F-350 King Ranch. As we pulled in to Dillon, Montana, the "Trailer Wiring Fault" warning appeared in the display. Also, the truck's trailer brake indicator showed no gain when I squeezed the brake levers. We had a mobile technician come out to our site and, after troubleshooting, he said that it was the truck. So, the next morning we stopped at Denny Menholt Ford in Butte, Montana. They trouble-shot the truck's 7-pin connector, and showed me, to my satisfaction, that the truck was good, and that the trailer was the problem. So, we drove to Bretz RV in Butte, and their technician showed up with a box that connected to the trailer's 7-pin connector. He immediately noted that the trailer brake wire was shorted. Troubleshooting the trailer brake wiring, he isolated the short to brakes on one of the tires on the rear axle. He cut out that brake wiring from the trailer wiring, and thereby provided us with working brakes on other three tires. I am taking the fifth wheel to our purchasing dealer tomorrow for repairs. We'll see how it works. Best of luck, and safe travels.
