Our Jayco Sport 10. In the garage for the winter. Cleaned out the inside.. Laid down dryer sheets to keep mice away. Washed with soap and bleach. Pure white again. Waxed with Turtle Wax ICE spray. See yah in the Spring. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413803264.442987.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1413803277.792738.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1413803286.577335.jpg

Not to brag or anything, but I just got back from an overnighter at Pace Bend Park just west of town... highs in the mid 80s(F), lows in the 60s, plenty of sunshine so we did some canoeing and swimming.

Next weekend is the Art Outside festival, 3 nights camping, should be more of the same, maybe slightly cooler.

I do need to wash the camper and maybe even wax it though.

They don't call it "wingless flight of the snow birds" for nothing. Around here the campgrounds finally start having some availability after being packed all summer.

I guess the downside is the travel time.. at least for me, the kids are ready to jump out of the truck after an hour.

Emjayuu that's is a great clean up. I was wondering if you would give us some details on that cleaning solution. I need to get mine that clean!

Sure batmancamp... Very hot water, a few squirts of dawn dish detergent, and about 3 cups of bleach. I have a soft brush that I used to scrub. Had to wash it twice as it was quite dirty. I use Turtle Wax spray (ICE) on it as well afterwards. I was very happy of the outcome.

Living in the PNW and it being fairly mild during the winter there are times you can escape winter and go to the coast of Oregon for some great camping over 32 deg. And just head south to your hearts content and stay on the the 101 or the 1 and you'll be fine and most places are open 12 months . I still cook outside in Feb. in southern Oregon and down the Cal. Coast.
