Hi all, we have a 2023 pinnacle 36fbts and are wanting to put in a washer and dryer. I am looking for people's thoughts / experiences with a combo unit or stackables.
Thanks for your input.

Got a Splendidie combo vented.
Does a good job, but expect less capacity, longer cycle times, and it tends to wrinkle some fabrics.
For 2 people it's fine, but I'm not fussy about my laundry.

I install the combo in our 321RLTS 5th wheel and that was because I don't think that I could have gone with the stackable and every since then the one we have now we have the same combo. It just my wife and I and we wash small load so it's not a problem for us but we would never go without now.

Don't like those shady laundry mat you just never know we love it that we don't have to go to the mat.

We have the Whirlpool stacked washer and dryer. Works great. You can have 2 loads going at the same time. IMO the separates hold a little more laundry than the all in one units. Ours are 8 years old and still work like they did when they were new.

I'd also like to add that space is at a premium the way we RV, and having a combo unit frees up probably around 1 cubic yard of storage space that a seperate dryer would occupy.

Stacked (separate since some are now on both sides of the closet) only way to go in my opinion.

I agree on the stackable. We just spent a week& half at our Ozark hideaway and did lots of laundry. The Splindide washer we have takes 80 min for a load . Might be faster on another lite setting. Also it's a 15lb load max

We have the combo unit and it works well for us. We're snowbirds so we stay in South Florida 4 or 5 months. No issues. It works great.

With the splendidie, don"t overload, and if it's shaking badly, stop it and redistibute the load. Sometimes it takes more than one try.

We have stacked Whirlpools in our Precept. It is great coming home from a trip and unloading a bunch of clean clothes rather than having a mountain of dirty laundry to do after vacation. I don't have any experience with a combo unit though.
