Water drips in through the locks??

Have any of you notice this issue. On my outdoor kitchen and side compartments the locks are not water poof. If it rains real hard water will drip throught the lock. Is there any fix for this? Maybe upgrade the locks, dont know what to do. For now im just keeping tape over the key hole.

Hummm, never heard of this. I suspect ot is not the key core, but the hole the lock assembly goes through. Might try removing a lock assembly see it there is any kind of seal, if not I would go to the hardware store with the lock assembly and see if you can buy a small diameter o-ring.

Are you sure it's leaking from the lock? My hatch gasket on one cargo hold door was twisted, and it leaked, until the seal was replaced.

Are you sure it's the lock or an oversized/not centered drill hole?
I found the tiniest gaps so I re centered my locks and sealed around the circumference.

Yea, we had some heavy rain, when I open my compartment door the next day, I saw a few drops of water around the lock. I was puzzled. So I took a cup of water and poured it over the lock with the door open and sure enough a few drops of water came through. Then I thought maybe it was just that lock so I tried it on the other 2 and it was the same thing. This is a brand new 2017 jayco 33rbts. I'm just guessing that these locks on not water poof. If water goes into the key hole it comes out the back. It's was only a couple of drips but still weird. Also I'm going to check the seal (o ring that you mention).

I'm having the same problem. It's not much water but it's a pain. Does anyone have any ideas?
