So I was bored and reading the packaging for the Camco water filter and it mentioned storing the filter capped in the refrigerator.

Anyone doing this?

Keep mine in the frig when not in use. I pull the cartridge out and let it dry overnight then put it in a plastic bag and keep it in the vegetable bin.

I keep mine in the refrigerator while in transit, as well. Just blow the water out of it, replace the caps, and lay it on one of the wire shelves so it doesn't roll around. Before I went "full-time", I'd keep it in the home refr. I don't know if it retards bacteria growth, but figure it doesn't take up much room, and it can't hurt.

I get a new one every year but in between uses/trips I would keep ours in the fridge in the garage. I just drained the water out after use and put it up till the next trip.
