Water port on door side

The door side water port has a different quick connect than outside shower on the opposite side. What is the proper connector for that port?

A pic is worth a thousand words...usually the outside shower is a quick connect and the city water and water tank fill connections are usually a threaded fitting you attach a hose to or just one threaded fitting with a diverter/lever. As mentioned quick connects should be the same unless somebody's changed it.

Spray port in another Pinnacle in the park is the same as mine. Mail that works on outdoor shower connection but not the door-side spray port.

Maybe asked the guy in the other Pinnacle 😏
Silly question...that other "spray port" wouldn't be the propane port for a BBQ or stove would it 🤔

Holy cow! Maybe but it’s chest high so it would be strange. Never considered that. The propane is at the back under the trailer.

FYI there was a recall on that propane line. They had to put a valve in it for isolation.

We have two water ports and the same quick connect hose works on them both. The door side one is cold water only and is on the side of the camper. The gas is below it under the camper.

When you reference the outside shower are you referring to the water connector on the water panel in the wet bay area with the hot and cold knows (like a faucet)? Ours is the same there and on the door side, a quick disconnect type connector. It's on the end of a blue curly hose with a brass screw end to put a water nozzle on.

I have the same issue. The water pressure on the door side connector makes if very difficult to get it to lock in place. Got to push hard. It could be stuck. I have used a Philips screwdriver to push it in but stand to the side because water comes out fast. Also you might try relieving the water pressure to make the connection.

Really good input. Thanks. I’ll give it a try. It only makes sense they should be the same.

I had that annoying blue curly hose as well, is was like a big slinky 🙂 it came with the trailer along with the short cheap drain hose, a connector and a clamp. The outdoor shower worked great at first then became harder and harder to connect. Maybe spraying a lubricant might help. I wonder how difficult it would be to change that fitting for a new one or something else? If you're somewhat handy it's probably mounted with screws and could be pulled out and cut, then push on a sharkbite valve. See what's going on from the inside and make a plumbing plan 🤔

Winner! Gotta push it like you mean it. Thanks
