I have recently purchased a 2016 jayco redhawk 26xd from a dealer, the water pump was working and now has stopped. I have done the following
Checked all 15 amp bayonet fuses - nothing blow
removed the pump and jumped across the battery and the pump works.
reinstalled and still not working

At the main panel where the pump switch is, the green light does not come on. i am stumped, there does not seem to be power to the pump. Is there a hidden fuse somewhere for the pump itself?

i drained the potable water tank and when filled again this is when the pump stopped. do those 1,2,3,4,5,6 valves need to be in a specific arrangement. i tried all different positions and no action from the pump

any suggestions would be helpful = i am stumped

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have a current break somewhere between the pump and the power supply. Get a voltage meter, start at the pump and see if you have power. Then work your way back to the gas power distribution panel and see if you have good voltage going out of that panel to the pump. Also check and make sure the wires are good and tight at the panel.

It doesn't sound like the pump since you said it worked when you powered it directly to the battery. Sounds to me like you may have an intermittent connection in the power wire. I would check that first before spending money on a new pump.
The only other thing that comes to mind is you may have had a stuck pressure switch in the pump that freed up when you pulled it for testing.

The arrangement of the valves shouldn't keep the pump from coming on, but they do need to be in the correct alignment to do what you want to do. For pumping from the fresh water tank to your fixtures the valves should be set to 3 - 5 (Normal) with the water pump turned on. I've attached a description of all the valve settings. This may be more info than you want/need, but it has been helpful to many new Jayco owners. Can't remember who created it originally, but it was somebody on this forum.

I would continue troubleshooting the problem because it will be back one day! Could just be a loose wire connection somewhere.
