For anyone who has soft water at home and wants the same in their camper, Camping World has a nice little Flow-Pur unit on sale ($239) that works like a charm. Easy to install, and at least on my 2011 365BHS was easy to conseal completely out of sight in my basement. About once a month I will have to remove 5 screws so I can get to it and regenerate, but with the way I connected everything, completing this should be a breeze. I don't currently have pics, but if anyone is interested I can take some next weekend and get them posted.

Here is a source for more kinds of water softeners. Just stay away from the stupid magnetic jobs. Those are a ripoff.

I'm planning on mounting one and the incoming water filters inside the wardrobe just above the water heater inside the bathroom. Removing or relocating the shelf will give plenty of room.

We have the On The Go water softner. Works great, regenerate with 1# of table salt every 400-450 gallons of water used.
