Hi - I am just in the process of purchasing a 2025 Jayco Flight SLX 236TH. The dealer recommended (and convinced me to include in the contract) a Blue Ox WDH. I am towing with a 2023 Chevy Tahoe - Diesel engine. I am trading in a Class A on this TT. I've seen some youtube videos with broken hitch frame from weight distribution hitches - although so far haven't seen one with Jayco. ChatGPT has told me that weight distribution hitches are specifically not recommended for the SLX line of travel trailers although I can't find any reference that supports this (ChatGPT has been known to be wrong) - and the manual mentions weight distribution hitches but nothing about not using them. Any thoughts on this appreciated and thanks

You'll be pulling a 28' TT weighing over 5000lbs dry and without any of your stuff. Doesn't look like full specs are available yet. I pull a SLX 261BHS with my ram 1500 & BlueOx WDH. I'm sure if you really crank it down you can damage your camper and truck. Follow BlueOx recommended settings for the weight you will be towing.
