What Did You Do To Your RV TODAY?

Replaced the pop-up outlet tower on the kitchen counter. The AC outlets were working, but we lost the USB outlets and the magnetic-charger. ... assuming the adapter / transformer died.

As we are having a little stretch of nice dry weather I was able to get the mounting brackets for another 200 watts of rooftop solar in place and caulked.

Of course you know the story, we require a report.:giggle:
We're back home, safe solid first outing. We had a blast, our pups are exhausted, lol, and no major (or minor) snafus experienced. We went with my bother and his wife (experienced campers) and they helped us where we had questions. We have another trip planned for this next weekend with more friends.

I started moving things back into the camper. :nansplit: Prepped that crappy, lifting thermo-foil, kitchen sink with painters tape, readying it for new calk. It was just a little too cold today and yesterday, in the 40's to really do it. I'll wait until mid week for the warmer temps and sunshine to come around.

I'm planning on visiting my Jayco this weekend to see how it's doing and bring as much stuff up as I possibly can :)

Took the cover off and washed and waxed it. Always a job, but worth it in the end! Next week the bearings get packed and batteries replaced. I’ve gotten 7+ good years out of them.

Built a false-floor under one of the dinette seats. The floor is now level with the cabinet style side door so a storage container slides out easily. ... keeps from having to remove the cushion or work at floor level to access the compartment.

Had another nicer day out so was able to get the spring roof cleaning in, checked all the caulk and touched up as needed. Ready to mount another 200 watts of solar now.

And, after a bit of a cloudy start this morning it turned into another nice day. Therefore, the additional 200 watts of solar are now mounted and wired into the system. There are 3 sets of serial wired panels with each set plugged into a different port on the Zamp combiner box that the camper came with. Everything is working great!

Wow. Thats impressive! How many watts do you have all totaled?

I washed the roof and sides of the rig. Had to pull it out of the shed to get up top. While it was clean and accessible, I added a top coat of the same top coat I did a coupe years ago to several areas around the skylight..
It sure was a pretty day, perfect weather and a nice breeze, I'm whipped.

Took her in to have the bearings packed, wet bolts lubed and brakes checked. Also put in two new Interstate batteries and replaced the spare tire, which was the original. Despite being virtually never used, it was going on 8 years old! Yes, I had them balance it — just in case. My independent RV shop suggested a Freedom Hauler brand tire for the spare. I’d never heard of them, but they’ve apparently been making trailer tires in the U.S. for a long time, and they said they’ve had great luck with them. Since it’s just the spare, I figured it’s worth a try. Less than half the price of my other Goodyear Endurance shoes. I’m curious if anyone out there has tried these?

... have never heard of Freedom Hauler, and hope you don't have to use that one either. I'm going to look into that brand for my utility trailer. Otherwise, it sounds like you are good to go. Another 8 years?
