What did you do to your Tow Vehicle today?

Parked it at Loggerhead Beach, Bahia-Honda State Park.
That's a hard place to get a site in during the season. Its hard to leave, once you are settled in with both the morning coffee as the sun comes up and then settled in with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the crystal bluish green waters.

I want to get down that way next Spring.

Crabman, I hope you do, it's worth the trip. Being a state park it's more affordable than other places in the Keys.

Jayhawk 29, It is difficult to reserve. I was on the reservation site every day for 5 weeks before "getting through" to being able to make a reservation. The few available sites are gone in seconds. Most of our camping neighbors said they got in on cancellations. I'll try again next year, but not holding my breath. And it is hard to leave.

Washed and waxed the truck. Ugh! A lot of area to wax, with the camper shell, but gotta keep it looking nice. I figure with the tariff craziness, it will soon be worth more than I paid for it 8 years ago.

I’m due for an oil change. I just changed the fuel filters @ 10k and the oil is approaching 5k. Scheduling today.
So many appts this month!
I decided to wait until after Easter to schedule the oil change.

Current tow vehicles nothing. (Drove one to town on a Menards run).
Future tow vehicle? Welded some more on its bare cab that's off the frame getting ready to ship it to the paint shop
This is an 80s Dodge 3/4 ton. Body off frame resto. Gonna be a carbureted 360 magnum with 5 speed stick, when done.
Wing windows dimmer on floor, cowl vents, carburetor, stick shift and a whole lot more I can't get on a newer truck no matter how much I were to throw at a stealership. .
But I'm building what I want.

Turned over 70k and replaced factory Hitachi rear shocks with KYB...why didnt I do this sooner? Now it 'porpuses' over dips in intersections and full lane bumps. Fronts are next....hello RockAuto.

70k? That's all? My daily driver and tow warrior 01 Durango just turned over 316k miles. Not parting with it til it rusts down into the ground. A little maintenance goes a long way. Yes I did drop a replacement 360 ("5.9") in it at 260k and I just rebuilt the trans about 3500 miles ago ( I do everything myself) and added a few heavy duty goodies inside while it was apart. But id drive it anywhere. Any time

Glad you've had luck with your vehicle. My 2019 RAM 1500 purchased in April 2019 was reacquired by FCA (now Stellantis) in January 2020 and THEY couldn't get it 'fixed' as required by the lemon law until November. It was listed at $12,000 less than they paid me for it. My brother abused a 1995 Durango for 200k miles.

Yesterday, I checked air in all tires manually. Then replaced all the TPMS sensors and verified they are within spec of tolerance for our trip this week.
It's to hot to be standing on the side of the road with a tire problem.

It's been too hot too early here. We had a frog floater come through yesterday out of nowhere, but not the worst that some areas got. Now the grass is wet, and I have to mow it before we leave tomorrow. Gonna leave clumps.

Yup older definitely is better among all brands.
