Where are you camping this weekend?

Mammoth mountain RV park to get out of the heat in SoCal.
The only decent highway in California is the last 60 miles of 395 headed into Mammoth. It sure is smooth and it’s amazing how much quieter and less stressful that part of the drive is. The rest of the roads around here really are bad and prematurely wear out you and your rig.

Been camped out at our Sons house in Seward AK. for the last two weeks. Took a helo flight to a glacier. Pretty cool landing and walking on one. Been on the road for just about 8 weeks.

Just an overnight stop at Walker Lake, NV on our way to S. Lake Tahoe. Campground is completely empty. Dry camping for the night.

Amazing and beautiful!

Seboomook Wilderness Campground on the beach on Moosehead Lake
Fall in the air highs 65 lows 45
leaves are starting to turn
water ought to be warm enough to swim
All in all not a terribly hot summer

It's Peach Season in Western Colorado. We're at a State Campground just outside of Palisade, CO. As soon as everyone wakes up, we're heading into town for our first batch of peaches. :)

We just back into cell service but this is where we've been camping. Gorgeous days, cold nights, and large rainbow trout. Unfortunately, it clouded over which made for very poor solar charging. The nights were below freezing so the furnace was coming on and killing the battery.Wie didn't bring a generator so we had to exit a day earlier than we planned. Now we've got a few days of relative luxury in a site on a river with full hookups.
