We are at Crystal Beach CG near Summerside, PEI. We have been here for a week and will stay 3 more nights before heading home. Our site is not too small for a private CG. We have full hookups and once the WiFi got fixed, it works very well. We have been driving all around PEI this week. The scenery is stunning. The temps are comfortable and blankets are needed at night. This is our first time on PEI and we are very impressed. We will return for sure.
We're at Leisure Resort on the San Marcos river not to far from San Antonio, TX. This is our annual "last hurrah" trip before the kids and grand kids have to go back to school. We have 4 TTs (2 Starcraft and 2 Jayco) loaded with kids and grand kids and they're ready to float the river. It'll be a welcome relief from the near 100' days we've been having.
We finish getting the trailer packed and ready, as we leave Thursday morning for four nights camping near Watkins Glen, for NA$CAR at the Glen weekend, then we head from there to the St. Lawrence / Thousand Islands area for 8 more nights...
Finally getting the RV for it's first go. We are staying local at the KOA in West Chester, PA. Let's see how it all goes and what I remember and forget!
Capital Forest, southwest of Olympia. Monday I'll be at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park for a few days. After that, probably over to the Sun Lakes / Dry Falls area, south of Banks Lake.
We'll be at Oak Creek CG just west of Weatherford, TX where we live. We're not new but our trailer is and we're spending our first night in it... close to home in case of problems.....
Just back from 27 days. Went to Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks, on to Laughlin, NV (118 degrees - only stayed one hot night), Santa Fe, NM for a week, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (fabulous!!!), Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Salt Lake City to visit our son, home. Great trip!
Leaving tomorrow for a four-day weekend at Myrtle Beach State Park. Most state parks are out in the boonies. This one is at the southern end of the City of Myrtle Beach and it connects to the paved bike paths in town. Kind of nice to occasionally bike to a restaurant for dinner.
