I have a 2007 Jayco Seneca Super C. From what I read I should have wiring to install my solar panels. I cannot find . Any suggestions?

We have a 2016 Seneca and aren't aware of it being 'solar ready' so I seriously doubt yours would be. If you have a rooftop fridge vent (we don't) you can run the solar wires through there to wherever you need to terminate them. Others will chime in on wire routing.

It terminates under the ceiling light in front of the living room a/c. The other end is in the battery compartment.

You may have to dig into the foam insulation to find the wires. The roof top sat cable should be there too. At least that's where they were in our 08.

You can always "e" mail JAYCO with your vin# and ask for the roof wiring schematic.

Contact Jayco and get the wiring schematic and harness information as it will show all the locations and where the wires go.

The newer Senecas are not prewired for solar. I contacted Jaco and the tech said 2013 and on are not prewired. I did add solar a couple on months ago, the installer went through the roof and fished the wires down behind the refrigerator. He did a really nice job. You would have thought it was a factory install.

I did 320 watts, two 160 watt panels and seems to work well. I may add one more 160 watt panel. My controller will support 500 watts. This will probably be over kill but is only money. Sam
