Hi y’all, I have a Precept 31ul and need to replace the tires due to age. It came with Michelins, but, I really don’t want to pay for them in I’m only going to get 30k out of them.
Can anyone give me their brand that they’re happy with. Size 235/80 R 22.5
Thank you in advance, David

David, this subject can quickly become a Ford vs Chev type discussion as you know. However, I have faithfully read several RV forums over many years and it seems most RVers who don’t want to pay the price for Michelin replacements go with Toyo. They have a metric replacement for the 235’s. Folks claim they ride and handle as well (or “better” according to some) than the OEM Michelins. It will be important to inflate them to the load table values after weighing your rig as typically loaded for travel……to get an acceptable ride and best handling. I will go with Toyo when the time comes……based on the many positive comments I have read from both OTR truckers and RVers.

Good times and safe travels to ya.
