Which toilet do I have

Hi everyone. Watched a video on replacing the toilet gasket since mine no longer holds water in the bowl. Video stated you either have a Thetford or dometic. I checked all manuals, but nothing about the throne.

Anyone know which brand installed on a 2017 Eagle HT 27.5 rlts? It looked a lot like the video (Thetford), but not sure.

Jayco buys from both and reserves the right to substitute. Usually there is a label on the base against the wall. Yep, brilliant place to put it. A mirror is very helpful in this case. Many parts are interchangeable just like the one in your stick and brick home.

I saw the same video if it's about getting a wood seat. I did it and it's an excellent upgrade.

I confirmed my toilet model# with my phone by holding it such that I could take a photo of the back of the base.

Is it porcelain or plastic? If it's porcelain it's probably a Thetford Style 2. Easy to work on.

Yes it is a Thetford II porcelain, and now that confirmed ordered the seal kit.

Glad you've identified it. I've replaced the ball seal on our (different brand) toilet, and it wasn't hard to do. Pulled it out and replaced it on the tailgate of the truck. Got some interesting looks from the neighbors that day.

Gotter done tonight lol


Held water for 15 mins and that was about 14 mins longer than before. I will check again tomorrow, but I am pretty sure the water will be there.

The old gaskets were pretty worn and thinner after 5 yrs of use.
