White Hawk 27 DSRL issue

We just bought 2016 DSRL (brand new just last years model) and found this after we got home.

The outside of this hole is th back of a marker light

and besides the obvious of a hole to nowhere my concern is that if water gets past the seal on the marker light then there is no stopping the water from going into my pass through. I just asked the dealer about it (since it is under warranty) but wanted to know if anyone here had any idea

Looks like you had a Sway Command prep or install. It was recalled and dealers covered up the hole like that...not sure, though.

I agree with Mikey's assessment. That is where my sway command is located although it is inoperative. It does look as though they replaced it with marker light.

Have the same marker light. I confirmed this when I was picking up that there was the sway command thing.

That somewhat makes sense to me know as it had some sway prep done by the manufacturer done before it was determined to not work. I just don't understand why someone would leave a hole and just cover it up

Dealer said it was where the recalled sway command was. No word on fixing the hole
