Used our new 2014 1007 for the first time this past weekend. A few glitches... most annoying was the "kitchen" tap blew mostly air, very little water spray and then nothing at all.
Cold water tanks filled, then parked at site, turned on water pump switch inside, waited, tried tap ...blowing water spray and noisy! Tried later, same results. Tried with hot water tap, same results. Over four days, the water tap never ran water. What did we do wrong?

Did you check the valves on your water pump? It may be in winterization mode. There are 2 valves; 1 for the clear tube for winterization (should be off); and one to pull the water from your fresh water tank (should be on). My guess is this is not the case.

They look like this

Same thing happened to me when I tried de-winterizing the Eagle. It's that time of year, and everyone is de-winterizing. I see a lot of us newbe's (or a least new Jayco owners) are experiencing this same situation. Nice to see I'm not the only one who's run into it. Called for help here, and these good folks came to my rescue, as well. What they have suggested was exactly what needed to be done. Thanks, again, for your help!

Now that you've solved the water problem, I'm sure your next outing will be much more enjoyable. Happy Camping! :campfire:

Happened to me as well on my older 2008 model POPUP. Mine uses the three VALVE winterizing setup. This shows where those three valves should..

This is a typical water flow chart for the trailers... Might give you some clues what to look for...

Dang Roy, I'm impressed! You come up with some of the best visual art demos I've seen! As they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words!!

You Rock!!!

Is a new model winterized before I pick it up? And de-winterized when I arrange to pick it up?

I've taken a screen shot of your fab diagram to keep on the computer for reference. Thanks, I'll try again.

You bet! it was undoubtedly winterized at the factory before transport, and dealers rarely de-winterize. I'm sure the thinking is "factory doesn't know where the trailer will end up (or when), so they winterize so the lines & tanks don't freeze in transit or on the dealer's lot. Dealers don't know when the owner will be using it for the first time, so they don't want to spend the time ($$$) de-winterizing it. A couple $4 gallons of antifreeze is cheap insurance to avoid the liability of replacing tanks & water lines.

Trust me, the guys who answered your plea for help know what they're talking about! And now, you will too, so you can advise the next person who has the same problem. ;)
