Newbie here
I'm about to winterize my 2008 Eagle. Can I drain the low point drains and the HW heater and poor anti freeze in the traps and in the holding tanks and be good for the winter? When I drain the low point drains is that draining the supply lines?

No, By draining the WH and opening up the low point drains does nothing for winterizing your faucets. You need to suck RV Antifreeze into the supply and run each faucet including your outside shower until you have pink. Your Eagle Manual will have the winterizing instructions in it. Including how to bypass your WH.
Yes, when you open and drain with your low point valves you are draining the lines. But you should also open these while sucking in the pink stuff until you get pink out of them too.

NO. As dalebra said, after draining at the low point and water heater, you'll still have water in all the faucet fixtures and shower lines (inside and outside) and, if equipped, the kitchen pull-out faucet.

With antifreeze method. After draining...
dalebra, and lots of others, suck RV antifreeze into the system using the on-board water pump and pump that throughout the system (after changing the valves on the water heater to bypass positions).

No antifreeze method. After draining...
Myself, and lots of others, use low air pressure (40 to 60 psi) to blow out the water in the faucet fixtures and shower lines (inside and outside) and, if equipped, the kitchen pull-out faucet. I also drain the fresh water tank and run the water pump a few seconds to clear it of water.
