I went to storage with the intent to let my generator run for a while on my Jayco Melbourne 24L. When I attempted to start the engine the only thing that happened was the wipers came on and did not turn off for 20 minutes. Any ideas of what's going on and how can I fix it? As far as the issue of the rig not starting, I believe that I just need to jump it.

I would bet it's a very complicated electronics system that controls it, along with some other features. After checking out the wiring to the motor for a short to ground yourself, I would take it to a MB dealer for diagnosis.

Was it raining? I believe Sprinters have automatic wipers but I don't know if all of them have it. There is a way to turn the auto feature off. Even if it wasn't raining, there could be an issue with the sensor so I would make sure they are not in auto mode. ~CA
