I'm going to be rebuilding the roof for my 2005 Jayco Jay Series 1407 pop-up and trying to get as many of the things I need, all together for when the project starts. The one thing I can't seem to find anywhere is the dimensions of the wood used in the roof. Does anyone know that or know where I could figure that out? I'm also thinking pressure treated will be the way to go this time. :D

Welcome aboard.

I would skip PT. When you buy it it is very wet, and will take 6 months or more to dry. It also has a high tendency to twist and warp. If you have the roof sealed properly and inspect it annually water will never get in.

Personally I would go with a high quality pine, stable grain pattern, minimal knots will help keep it from twisting, and the wieght will be much less.

As for lumber size, sorry can't help with that.

I agree with above. You’ll just have to measure what’s there and rebuild to those dimensions. Depending on how long the sides, you may have to join two boards together. You should consider joining this forum. Lots of people there have rebuilt roofs and can give you a lot of info.
