About a month ago we took the camper out for the first time this season. Went to a state park that was just electric so we had to fill our water.
That night I heard the pump kick on real briefly and I immediately thought to myself "I really hope its my water heater plug I didn't tighten enough and not a pipe leak." Well fast forward the following afternoon and I noticed water coming in from the back passenger side corner which made me think outside kitchen or toilet. After some investigation I determined the flexible pvc line to the outside kitchen sink was dripping. So, I ran to the nearest hardware store and got some pex and shark bites. Cut the tubing back to behind where I thought the pin hole lead was. All seemed good until a few hours later the water returned. After completely pulling the outside kitchen sink drawer out and looking around with a flashlight I found the elbow against the back wall connecting the water line behind the toilet with the outside kitchen was dripping. Luckly it wasn't too bad, and I just stuck a rag back there until I got home. Ended up replacing both elbows with shark bite elbows, running new pex lines, and went ahead and installed new water lines to the sink with shut offs.

It was super tight getting my hands back there, I actually ended up cutting into the panel inside the outside kitchen left side. It won't be visible since the drawer should block the hole.

I'm just thankful the leak hasn't occurred on the other back corner under the shower. The same crappy elbows are on that side too.

Our unit is a 2018 and so far, the only water leaks have been from that outside kitchen. I would remind everyone with the outside kitchen equipped with sink to check these connections every year. Luckily it wasn't a major leak, just enough to be annoying. If it was left unrepaired that water would eventually cause bigger issues. I'd also recommend installing shut off valves in the outside kitchen. Had the leak been larger and/or hardware store further away, we would have been without water in our trailer.

I just wanted to share my little "first outing of the year" adventure! Thats what the first outing is for!
