We took our 3rd trip in our camper this week down to Tabor City, NC. This was our longest trip to date, travel time was about 3.5 hrs each way, and we had an amazing time.
This is about 30 minutes from the North Myrtle Beach area, but we were down visiting friends from when we lived in the area. We practically had the campground to ourselves. All of the RV sites were concrete, I did have to do a little leveling from side-side. Each site had 20/30/50 electric service, good water supply, and sewer hookups. There were water parks, 3-4 dog parks, creamery, mini-golf, and a general store. Over half of the sites were pull through, and they have quad sites around a common grassy area. They also have other sites to include grills, sinks, swinging benches.
We were there after the Easter campers and school was back in. We utilized the bark parks many times, and went on long walks around the campground without our dogs going crazy barking at other dogs or people. We plan on going back in the fall.
