View from your Jayco Door

I just saw some beautiful photos posted of Lake Lanier by GregJames. I know we all have experienced beautiful views from our camper door or window. I am not sure if there is a thread going already, but I thought it would be fun to start one to share your special view for the day with everyone! Since my view today is at the office on my screen saver, I will start with a view from Knights RV Resort in Marathon during mini lobster season. Cheers!

Nice!

I shot this in June. A. B. Fuller County Park campground, Delta County MI., about 20 miles south of Escanaba. This was literally shot from the edge of our campsite. The CG road is where I am standing.

Thanks for sharing Mike and DocBrown. I think this has the potential to be a long running thread! I wish there was such a thing as a like button on these threads.

This was our campsite view just before sunset as a storm rolled in, the sun popped out below the clouds and sank into the lake. This was at Grand Haven State Park on Lake Michigan.

Well can't let this pass by. Here are a handful:

This guy was actually ACROSS the door, pictured the day after I relocated him to the tree outside the door...

And this peeping tom was looking for opportunities to get IN the door...

This final one would be better if it came with the soundtrack of the loon calling as it took flight:

Not taken from the door of our Jayco, but within a few steps of it:

About ten years ago from the window in our old trailer. These were taken about a day apart:

Great thread and outstanding photos gang!

Here's a look from my son-in-laws' TT in the Grand Tetons last year. The view had me singing the "Sound of Music" (not really)..

Roaring Springs Ranch Club, West Texas. Not a lot of scenery in West Texas except for barb wire fences and beautiful unobstructed sunsets so when we do find a few trees, we love being in them.

Now we know why that new 500 mm telephoto lens is on your Christmas list this year

BTW - for my post above, all of those photos were taken within about 15' of the TT door, I swear. The loon is probably my favorite, because I heard him start his takeoff, grabbed the camera and started literally shooting from the hip as I burst out the door. That was the best of about 20-30 frames shot by just holding down the button aiming in the right general direction and praying. I didn't even have time to check what mode the camera was in.

That is truly beautiful! I know a lot of people who list Zion as their favorite spot and I am starting to see why. Really need to start getting out of the Northeast and seeing some of these places.

This was a couple years ago, when we had our X213, when we went out to Yellowstone. We were heading home and stopped at Devil's Tower.
