I believe the blue to red knob is a thermostat knob. So it doesn't change the temp the air is coming out, rather it should shut the a/c when it gets cool enough. You can test this by turning it all...

We just upgraded from a pop up to a 2004 27BH. With the 1500# pop up I hardly noticed it was there while towing. But this camper is a lot different to tow. We tow with a 2008 Yukon XL Denali.

We just upgraded from our 1995 Coleman pop up to a 2004 Jay Flight 27BH.
We have 4 kids so we really needed the extra room. So far we love it.
