Check the switches on each door. If a latch is loose or the switches are loose it can cause the open door chime to beep when you have a good size bump.

I have a 2012 32BHDS and the dry weight is 10600 lbs. I pull it with a 2011 F250 6.7 with no problems, but I don't think I would attempt it with a 1/2 ton truck.
