I think they planned this one out really well. It isn't a half ton but it isn't an HD model either (hence the XD name). By the way they're marketing it I think the pricing won't be at HD levels.

Our 351RLSA has the thermal package and 4 vents in the floor. Same thing, furnace and A/C are quite noisy.

We can always turn the TV up, but it's difficult to go back to sleep when the unit kicks...

Either that's the wrong bar for the truck or it wasn't installed correctly. It should be connected directly to the frame of the truck!

Same here, but ours acts weird, a lot like the OP's in a way. Once it's on it never shuts off no matter what the temperature and if you turn it down very carefully until it turns off it never comes...

I wouldn't recommend it. Our Eagle is the same thing, very nice looking wood in the middle. However, that carpeted area is carpeted for a reason. If it were laminate it would easily get scratched up...
