Luv2camp and I have been RVing for over 16 years and one thing we have always done after buying a new RV is take it out on a shake out trip. Go some place close to home and civilization, full hookups, close to a grocery and hardware store and bring TOOLS. Your driving an earthquake, sometimes thru a monsoon like we did today (western wa) or an oven and **** happens. If you are not handy then maybe a Lexus and hotel is a better choice. The thing about RVing is the experience and the places you can go and be apart of. We have learned to deal with problems while on a trip or fix things ourselves and move on. All in all during those shake out trips at the beginning of each season and with a new rig you can find out what needs fixin and what you want to mod or change to make the rest of the season more pleasurable. Now time for Octoberfest here in Leavenworth, WA.
