Ours is a 2022 Jayco that came with a 190-watt panel on the roof and solar charge controller mounted on the interior wall. There is also an auxiliary solar panel input port on the tongue of the trailer.
The roof solar panel charges the battery well, provided it's not in the shade. My questions is, if we wanted to plug a solar suitcase into the tongue port to supplement the roof panel in lower light conditions, does the suitcase need a charge controller also, or will the factory charge controller also control any panel input attached to the tongue?
