IIRC, it was about $110 from Rokland. Had a nice email exchange w/ Jason (I think that was his name) and we hammered out a few of the technical details.
As for the reserved IP addresses, it's not a big deal. And it's easy to log into the router's status page and see what IP addresses have been assigned to each device.
It just struck me as an odd omission. Most routers today can do 'reservations' - where you tell the router to hand a specific IP address to a given MAC address.
Not a big deal, and probably only a concern to 0.00001% of the buyers.
I imagine not too many others have a couple of Raspberry Pi's and a couple of laptops in their motorhomes.
I'm using the Raspberry Pi's to collect ODBII data from the engine, GPS coords and timing, accelerometers, etc. It's a hobby that keeps me off the streets.
