Yes the TV on the outside. I had to lift the TV off the bracket and while the wife held it, I had to go in next to the dinning table open the side door and unscrew/unplug the wires. I removed the bracket and use the compartment for leveling blocks and wheel chocks.

When you ask about taking out the TV...do you mean take it out to watch or removing all together from the mount?
